Hey all, I will be in Anaheim at L.A. Con, the WorldCon for 2006, from Wednesday the 23rd until Sunday the 27th. This is the first WorldCon I've been to since San Jose in '02, so it will nice to be back.

Anaheim was the site of my first WorldCon in 1996 and I have to say, I wish every WorldCon was held there. The complex of the Anaheim Convention Center, the Hilton Towers and the Marriot make for an almost perfect facility for a WorldCon. The fifth floor Lanai deck connecting all of the suites turn to the con parties in one giant mingle. San Antonio was pretty good, but Anaheim just has everything you need in one generously proportioned but easily accessible space.

Sadly, J. Michael Straczynski,, creator of Babylon 5 won't be there, ironically due to recent successes. His con appearances have been a highlight of my previous experience.

Anyway, the Hilton has high-speed internet, so I will not be cut off. If I have anything worthy to say, I'll post it when I get it.
